Erika, Bear, and I live in a 1994 Bluebird Wanderlodge PT-40 WBSA (Wide Body Side Aisle).  I purchased the coach in December of 2004 after searching for 6 months for just the right motorcoach.  The coach has approximately 38,000 miles and is in excellent condition inside and out.  Bluebird is widely accepted among the RV ranks as one of the all around finest coaches made.  The exterior of the coach is almost entirely made of steel painted with Imron paint and the chassis is a bus type designed from the ground up to be a motorcoach.  This results in an extremely sturdy coach able to take many years of use and stays looking like new.  Not many motorcoaches made can come close to matching the durability of a Bluebird.  As a testament to Bluebirds quality, it has been said that almost every single Bluebird ever made over many decades can be accounted for.  This means that barring accidents and such, a vast majority of  Bluebirds are still roadworthy and are still in use today.

Many people come up to us intrigued about the Bluebird.  I enthusiastically answer their numerous questions and have given many tours of the coach.  People pick up very quickly  just how positive I am about this particular make of motorcoach.  It is true, I am absolutely sold on the idea of Bluebird being the way to go if one wants a solid, well built, and long lasting coach.  It should be noted that I spent 5 long years of extremely obsessive research trying to decide which type, make, and model of RV to full-time in.  I considered every single RV out there at first, then slowly and methodically whittled away at the choices until it came down to just one, the Bluebird motorcoach.

And so this beautiful coach ultimately came into our lives and is now our home.  The original name of the coach was "Heaven's Way".  I am not familiar with the background of the name.  An interesting note, a previous owner had the name airbrushed over and the name banners still remain blank.  Word is that the previous owner was very heavy into the Harley Davidson thing and was about to go to a Harley rally.  He had the name airbrushed off in anticipation of going to the rally for some curious reason.  Maybe he thought the name was not macho enough for his Harley buddies and would be ridiculed?  Interesting?!  The Harley folks I have met are some of the finest people there are and I could not imagine this.  When the name banners are looked at in just the right light, you can make out the original name beneath the overlying paint.  I look at this as a sign that you can never block out Heaven and it's associations.  Try as one might, it will always come back through, stronger and clearer than ever.  When we locate an artist who is capable of the task, the original name will be restored properly.  Heaven's Way will prevail.
