Biking Acadia National Park 3

The beauty of this place is staggering.  As the leaves on the trees turn to their bright fluorescent fall colors, the eyes are literally assaulted and the brain overwhelmed.  Can you imagine the concept of being beat up by beauty??!!!  It is almost too much to take as every second is filled with one extreme scene after another.  Acadia is an "X-Game" event in sightseeing.  We try to take it all in, soak it up, and store it in our brains as it is all so fleeting.  The color comes in all it's splender and then you wake up one morning to find it all gone.  All blown away with the wind.  It is due to return next year but no promises are made.  Nature giveth and it taketh away.  We will take with us what we can and ask may we have another some day.

We also found the most perfect, most beautiful spot in all of Acadia.  It is a place so unbelievable, so majestic, so outrageous.  More details to come.
