Jerry is a born adventurer and
nature lover. Never content with staying in one place too long, he
Jerry grew up mainly in Southern California around the
Santa Barbara area as well as Venice Beach. He graduated from the
University of Oklahoma with a degree in Chemistry intending on going to medical
school if his first love, aviation, did not work out. Fortunately,
aviation did work out for Jerry. He climbed the civilian aviation ranks
first as an aircraft fueler/washer at the local airport while paying for his
flight lessons. Then he became a flight i
Jerry is pretty much interested in seeing and doing
everything. He avidly enjoys hiking, biking, boating, kayaking, R/C
aircraft, horseback riding, camping, and much, much more. During his
downtime from outdoor activities, he spends considerable time on the computer
learning new things as well as playing online games, his long-time favorite

Probably one of Jerry's greatest skills/gifts is to maintain an overwhelming amount of enthusiasm and positive attitude. He is able to appreciate the inner/hidden beauty of things around us that others are oblivious to. Although Jerry is usually quiet when around others, his appreciation for life reveals itself boldly and is infectious to those that take the time to get to know him and what he is about. Jerry epitomizes the concept of a happy but restless and ever searching free-spirit.

The story of Arlene, who he dedicated this web site to, is a perfect (and not
the only) example of his nature to aid others and does not begin to come close
to describing the intensity of the situation in which he willingly put himself
into for her care. Part of the reason he began this website was to inform
others about his traveling lifestyle and to help them begin traveling themselves
as well as allowing others to participate/observe who are not able to travel.

He went on to become a captain at a commuter airline. Now he is flying
corporate jets for the world's leading fractional aircraft operator, NetJets
Inc. Jerry's job allows him to travel the country at leisure and affords
him a great deal of time off to explore the world. Jerry takes full
advantage of his unusual work circumstance and he feels he has one of the
premier jobs in aviation now. He currently flies as a captain on a Hawker
800XP business jet and has also flown the Citation X (the world's fastest
civilian jet) and the Citation Ultra in his seven years at NetJets.

He began learning to play the guitar not too long ago as a way to keep his mind
sharp which he says helps keep Alzheimer's Disease at bay in later life.
