Erika Wszulkowski

Born: October 23, 1964

Zodiac Sign:  Libra

Erika earned her degree in Product Development from The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles.  Her love for fashion, design and art has been nurtured through her experience in the industry, including window designing for several elite boutiques in Santa Barbara as well as Nordstrom's Personal Shopper.  She also worked in the Spa/Resort industry where her love of gemstones and spirituality merged and manifested into "Rock and Soul Jewelry".  Helping her customers to feel good with their clothing and accessory choices was a particular high for Erika.

Moving to Santa Barbara from Atlanta in 1989, Erika has always chosen to live in the most rural of areas versus the city as nature is key to her craft;  "Nature speaks to me and I listen".  In April 2006, she will be embarking on a true life adventure with the love of her life Jerry.  They will be traveling the country in a deluxe motor home in search of the most unusual gemstones and fossils for the Rock and Soul collection.  They will spend 3 months at a time in each place they visit so they can get the true "feel" of each town.  This will reflect in her designs as each piece will be reminiscent of the places they visit.  Being an avid outdoors-woman, she is thrilled to be able to hike, bike, climb, raft her way across America!!  Perhaps they will visit your town!!

A
classically trained Alto, Erika has had the distinct honor of performing in various cathedrals in England and Scotland.  She also frequents New York's Carnegie Hall as she was selected to sing with several choirs under the direction of famed conductor John Rutter.  She was also a member of the Santa Barbara Canticle Choir.

Jewelry designing was a profitable hobby for many years.  Erika's absolute heartfelt and undying passion for gemstones and what they signify -- Nature and Earth is the driving force behind every creation.  With her desire to pursue gemology and the dynamics of jewelry design, she began creating her own unique one-of-a-kind necklaces and bracelets thus beginning her own jewelry business.  Erika has searched world wide to secure the natural elements needed to create designs of timeless elegance.  She handpicks the gemstones and other natural items for each of her designs for both quality and interest.  Both holistic and fashionable, Erika puts her heart and soul into each of her creations.
